The Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process, from start to finish. Recruiting is a comprehensive process in finding and identifying top talent and coordinating the entire interview process in partnership with the management team. The Recruiter will be a business partner and represent Fastmore to the candidate and will play a crucial part in growing the business by bringing in talent.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manages time to ensure workload is prioritized, hiring managers needs are being met in a timely manner and processes are being followed.
  • Manages and coordinates the full life cycle of recruiting by using best practices
  • Develops and evaluates recruitment processes and makes adjustments as needed
  • Analyzes assessments to see if they are fitting the needs of the business and makes recommendations when appropriate
  • Collaborates with mangers on current and future hiring needs
  • Implements people strategy by identifying, attracting, and hiring high quality employees
  • Sources qualified candidates through several avenues: field in-coming applications as well as reaching out to qualified candidates on multiple platforms
  • Conducts interviews and identify key qualities in candidates for the best fit for the company
  • Arranges interviews by coordinating schedule
  • Partners with managers on hiring input and decision making
  • Creates offer letter as well as extend offers to candidates
  • Maintains positive relationships with candidates and managers during recruitment cycle by communicating to all parties involved in the process
  • Conducts internal and external recruitment and placement activities for the company
  • Proactively comes up with creative was to source and network top talent
  • Oversees diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Educates and trains managers on best practices for behavioral interviews and selection techniques
  • Engages employees to participate in the referral program to assist with people strategy
  • Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partner to gather industry information regarding salary and benefits
  • Understands and demonstrates knowledge in regard to compliance with state/federal laws and other employment practices
  • Maintains and manages Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Creates and maintains recruitment metrics to share with senior leaders, managers and the human resources
  • Collaborates with marketing team on people strategy

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
  • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • MS Office – including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in logistics.
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.

  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
  • Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
