The Logistics Account Executive Supervisor position works in a fast-paced, customer-centric team that secures business from prospective and existing customers. This team has a strong impact in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all potential and existing customers.  This position will work closely with the Customer Sales Manager to ensure all functions of the LAE department are being met.


  • Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments
  • Identify and rectify data entry discrepancies
  • Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
  • Compute cost and price shipments for bids
  • Contribute to the growth and development of accounts
  • Respond promptly and cordially to customer requests via phone and email
  • Collect, review for accuracy, correct, and maintain all customer documents
  • Assist Sr. Inside Sales Reps with daily administrative tasks and grow book of business
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Ensure the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy
  • Assist in the interview and recruiting process as needed
  • Help select and transition accounts to new reps
  • Assist with account development and penetration during the first 60 days of an LAE’s new book
  • Provide guidance on communication, setting proper expectations with customers, pricing, and market trends
  • Guide new employees as they start creating new internal relationships with Capacity Managers and Logistics Coordinators
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Undertake disciplinary action if needed
  • Provide fair, constructive, and timely feedback towards performance expectations
  • Actively aid, guide, and coach employees on the floor
